A look back at some of the best, hardest and most surprising parts of my week. Plus a few of my favorite photos I snapped during the week. Sometimes, they’re even relevant.
The Good
More Benefits. This week I decided to add another benefit for Explore & Play More Members. They now get a one-on-one coaching session with me each month as part of their membership. It feels really great to find another way to give back to this group of people that embrace and support my work.
Floating. Any week I get to float is a good week.
The Bad
Months with five weeks. Because this month has five Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (my prime coaching days) and my clients have three sessions a month, I haven’t spent nearly as much time coaching this week as I usually do. I miss it. Which isn’t surprising because I’ve laughed far less than normal, witnessed far fewer a-ha! moments and been awed by my clients’ general awesomeness much less than I like.
The Rad
Spectacular Autumn Weather. It feels a little ridiculous how giddy this weather is making me. But every time I go outside I’m just in awe of the blue sky, the changing trees, the dry crunchy leaves piling up on the sidewalks. Kicking up leaves when I walk brings me sheer joy. And the leaves are staying on the trees so long that we can see their full spectrum of color. (Usually they’re knocked off by rain, and then turned into a sloppy, pasty muck on the streets.) We haven’t really had any rain since the deluge of biblical levels that dumped a month and a half’s worth of rain in a weekend at the end of September. At that point, we all figured that was the beginning of Oregon’s winter, and we wouldn’t see the sun until next July. And perhaps that is why this sunny, crisp, dry weather is just pure surprising delight. (Plus morning bonus of fog!)
And you?
