A look back at some of the best, hardest and most surprising parts of my week. Plus a few of my favorite photos I snapped during the week. Sometimes, they’re even relevant.
The Good
Fixing Things. Sometimes you have to get down and tear things apart to fix them. Bonus, when you can get them back together and they work right! This week I helped my mom get her carpet cleaner working right.
The Bad
Overthinking. During last Sunday’s long run, I came up with this fantastic idea, Active Every Day. I had loads of time to think the whole thing through, I talked to my mastermind buddy about it on Monday, and came up with a to do list. And then rather than getting started on it. I just kept thinking about it. Overthinking it. Wondering if it was, in fact, a good idea. If I could pull it off. Would anyone even care?
The Rad
Active Every Day Starts. I didn’t let the overthinking stop me. Yesterday, I just did it. I made the badge, wrote the post and shared it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. It felt so good to just go for it! And then this morning, to see people participating? A magical surprise. Once again, I discover how being okay with the possibility of being disappointed and acting on a whim can be oh-so-powerful.
And you?
